About the Position

We are looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining heavy equipment to ensure protected and reliable operation.

Responsibilities

· Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems and drivetrains

· Preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing

· Troubleshoot mechanical problems

· Complete inspections, repairs and maintenance documentation

· Perform field repairs when required

· Maintain a clean, protected and organized work area

· Follow company safety procedures and applicable regulations

Qualifications

· Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician certificate

· Experience working on heavy duty equipment

· Solid diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

· Valid driver license

· Strong commitment to workplace safety

· ability to work independently and as part of a team
