Description

The Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure is a 5k or 1k walk or run.

This year’s event will be taking place on Sunday, October 4th, 2026.

Join our Participant Experiences team and help create meaningful and memorable moments for our guests, supporters and top fundraising teams.

Tasks for this role may include:

- Help set up and prepare participant experience areas before guests arrive
- Welcome guests to the Hope Lounge and VIP areas
- Help create a warm, comfortable and supportive workplace
- Engage with guests and encourage participation in activities and activations
- Help distribute gifts, souvenirs or event materials
- Welcome and support top fundraising teams and special guests
- Keep participant experience areas organized and welcoming throughout the event
- Assist with light tear-down and clean-up when required
- Specific assignments may include Hope Lounge Engagement or VIP Area Support
- Must be 19+
- Bring a warm, compassionate and engaging attitude and enjoy connecting with people!

Your specific role assignment and responsibilities will be shared with you before the event so you know exactly what to expect on Run Day.
