Seasonal Position | October–April, with Potential Summer Work

Fantasy Farms Inc. is looking for a reliable, energetic, and hardworking Seasonal Farm & Events Employee to join our team for our busy fall and spring event seasons.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, being part of a fun team, and working in a fast-paced environment. Our farm hosts a variety of seasonal events and experiences throughout the year, so there is potential for additional summer employment as well.

Seasonal Schedule

The position will generally follow this schedule:

- October–January: Fall and winter events, farm operations and seasonal work
- February: Seasonal break
- March–April: Spring events and farm operations
- Summer: Potential additional employment based on availability, performance and business needs

Hours will vary depending on the season and event schedule. Weekend and holiday availability will be required during our busiest event periods.

Responsibilities:

Depending on the season, responsibilities may include:

- Helping set up, operate and take down seasonal events
- Greeting and assisting guests and providing excellent customer service
- Working attractions, activities, games and event areas
- Farm maintenance and general labour
- Cleaning and maintaining event spaces and facilities
- Assisting with animals and general farm duties
- Helping with decorations, displays and event preparation
- Operating equipment and tools when trained and authorized
- Working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Following all farm, safety and guest-service procedures




- Assisting other departments and team members as needed
- Learning and working in our food truck.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is:

- Reliable and punctual
- Energetic and hardworking
- Comfortable working outdoors
- Friendly and comfortable interacting with the public
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable with physical work and being on their feet for extended periods
- Flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks
- Available for weekends and holidays during peak seasons
- Previous farm, event, customer service or general labour experience is an asset, but not required
- A valid driver's licence and reliable personal vehicle are mandatory for this position. Applicants must have reliable transportation to and from the farm and be able to travel to work independently.
