The Inventory Associate is responsible for supporting accurate inventory control, cycle counting, product verification, and warehouse organization. This role helps maintain inventory accuracy by verifying physical stock against Warehouse Management System (WMS) records, identifying discrepancies, supporting audits, and ensuring products are stored safely and correctly in accordance with company procedures, food safety standards, and health and safety requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts according to the established inventory counting schedule.
- Verify physical inventory against Warehouse Management System (WMS) records and report any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Investigate and support the resolution of inventory variances related to receiving, shipping, damages, mis-picks, product movement, or system errors.
- Conduct inventory audits, recounts, and stock checks to support inventory accuracy targets and operational reliability.
- Identify, segregate, and report damaged, expired, obsolete, or temperature-sensitive food products requiring review or corrective action.
- Maintain organized warehouse locations and ensure products are stored in designated pick, reserve, and storage areas.
- Assist with physical inventory counts, annual inventory audits, and other inventory control activities as assigned.
- Monitor product locations, stock rotation, and inventory movement to support accurate picking, replenishment, and warehouse efficiency.
- Follow company food safety standards, warehouse procedures,



Valuable Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and health and safety regulations.
- Communicate inventory concerns, variances, damaged products, and location issues to the Warehouse Supervisor, Inventory Lead, or management.
- Recommend practical process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy, product control, and overall warehouse efficiency.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the manager or supervisor in a safe and efficient manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- 2–3 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, cycle counting, receiving, shipping, or related warehouse functions.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately count, verify, record, and reconcile inventory information.
- Basic computer skills, including experience using WMS, RF scanners, email, and Microsoft Office where required.
- Ability to identify inventory discrepancies, investigate basic variances, and communicate concerns clearly to supervisors and related departments.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to maintain clean, accurate, and properly arranged warehouse locations.
- Ability to follow warehouse procedures, food safety standards, GMP requirements, and health and safety rules.
- Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment and perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, moving products, and repetitive counting.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: $17.60-$19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
