Canadians in general are seeking healthier alternatives, owing to an aging population, greater knowledge of nutrition and an increase in healthier lifestyles. Tired of the same old, same old, z-teca Mexican Eatery was born to answer the call for better quality and fresher, healthier ingredients.

Why Mexican? Simple-it's our passion, and nobody seemed to be doing it right. Thus 'recent age' California style Mexican Eatery was born. The focus? To do a few things, and to do them really well. There are no gimmicky fast food style fried specialties, just REAL, WHOLESOME food. The result, a clean design with a simple, focused menu, using only fresh quality ingredients, hand processing with simple cooking techniques and employing great people who shared in the vision. This simple approach and passion for our business has allowed us to build a strong and successful brand.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We're currently looking for team members with a positive attitude, able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and willingness to learn. Our menu is a casual lifestyle concept that provides handcrafted meals served fresh & quick for a healthy, better-for-you food experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES





- High standards of customer service in a fast-paced high-volume environment

- Communicate clearly and positively with both customers and staff

- Master point-of-sales (POS) computer system for automated order taking

- Follow procedures for safe food handling & prepping, assembly, and presentation

- Building loyal customers through friendly interactions and consistent appreciation

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE

- Be responsible, respectful, and reliable

- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure

- Be at least 16 years old

- Passion for excellent customer service and communication skills

- A great attitude and a team player

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.60 per hour
