We are seeking a motivated/physically fit individual to join our team. The position requires heavy lifting, using small hand tools and saws, organization skills and a clean driving record.
Duties
- Assist with loading, unloading, and organizing stock within the warehouse using proper moving techniques and equipment.
- Load and Deliver finished wood products and stairs to construction sites.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after deliveries to ensure safety and compliance with transportation regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and inventory movements for tracking purposes.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers to coordinate schedules, resolve issues, and ensure satisfaction.
Skills
- Experience in warehouse operations, including moving heavy items safely and efficiently.
- Some experience with hand tools and saws.
- Valid driving license with a clean driving record for delivery routes.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks regularly.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and interacting with customers.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices for moving and handling goods.
- Fluent communication in English is required.
