Position: Construction Labourer – Concrete Removal & Restoration

Location: Ottawa, Ontario

Pay Rate: $30/hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5:00 p.m. – 3:00 a.m. (10-hour evening/night shift)

Project start date: September 8, 2026

One of our clients is seeking 4–6 Construction Labourers to join their team in Ottawa, Ontario, starting September 8, 2026.

The successful candidates will support concrete removal, demolition, restoration, rehabilitation, and repair projects. This role is physically demanding and requires hands-on experience with construction tools, particularly jackhammers and quick cut/concrete saws.

Responsibilities

· Perform concrete removal and demolition using jackhammers and heavy-duty power tools.

· Operate quick cut/concrete saws to cut and remove concrete safely and accurately.

· Assist with concrete restoration, rehabilitation, and foundation repair projects.

· Break, cut, remove, and prepare concrete surfaces for repair and restoration.

· Assist with formwork, concrete placement, finishing, and slab work as required.

· Handle, move, organize, and dispose of concrete debris and construction materials.

· Support site preparation, stone grading,



and general construction activities.

· Follow instructions from supervisors and work effectively as part of a construction crew.

· Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment.

· Maintain a clean and organized work area.

· Follow all workplace safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Requirements

· 2–3 years of hands-on construction experience, preferably in concrete removal, demolition, restoration, or rehabilitation.

· Proven experience operating jackhammers for concrete removal is required.

· Experience operating quick cut/concrete saws is highly preferred.

· Previous experience with concrete cutting, demolition, restoration, foundation repair, or concrete finishing is an asset.

· Physically fit and able to lift, carry, and handle heavy materials and equipment.

· Comfortable performing physically demanding work for extended periods.

· Solid commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.

· Previous construction site experience is required.

Pay: $30.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
