About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Medical Billing Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will handle medical claims, third-party billing, payment reconciliation, and billing documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and submit Manitoba Health claims, including P1, P2, and remittance reports.
- Process third-party billing, invoices, and payments.
- Verify patient and provider information.
- Query, resubmit, or write off returned claims.
- Maintain billing records and update tariffs as required.
- Reconcile billing reports and payments using Accuro and third-party billing platforms.
- Communicate with physicians regarding billing questions and updates.




- Investigate billing discrepancies and work with management and finance.
- Complete paperwork for adding recent physicians to billing sites.

Qualifications

- Previous medical billing or healthcare administration experience.
- Knowledge of Manitoba Health billing processes.
- Accuro and third-party billing experience is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

Compensation

$23.79, based on experience and qualifications.
