We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Shipper/Receiver to join our warehouse and logistics team in Woodstock,ON. Reporting to the Shipping Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, receiving raw materials, shipping finished goods, inventory movement, and maintaining warehouse organization.
The ideal candidate has shipping and receiving experience, forklift certification, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to ensuring customer orders are shipped accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Receive and transfer raw materials and finished products.
- Pick orders accurately using FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and material handling equipment.
- Report equipment defects and hazardous conditions immediately.
- Verify shipment accuracy and report discrepancies to the Logistics Leader.
- Perform repacking activities as required.
- Organize warehouse inventory in a clean, effective, and safe manner.
- Maintain accurate inventory locations and storage layouts.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and suggest process improvements.
- Operate warehouse cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbers.
- Assist with warehouse housekeeping and snow removal planning as required.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
- Provide support to other departments when required.
QualificationsRequired
- Minimum 1 year of Shipping and Receiving experience.
- Valid Forklift Certification.
- Strong mathematical and counting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable and dependable work ethic.
Preferred
- Experience receiving merchandise and barcoding inventory.
- Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Previous manufacturing or industrial warehouse experience.

- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.

Pay: Up to $23.00 per hour
