Duties

- Provide professional hair cutting, styling, coloring, and grooming services tailored to each client’s preferences.
- Engage with clients to understand their desired looks and offer expert recommendations on styles and treatments.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe environment.
- Upsell retail products such as hair care items and styling tools to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
- Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and processing payments efficiently.
- Communicate clearly with clients throughout their visit to ensure comfort, satisfaction,



and repeat business.
- Stay updated on the latest trends, techniques, and products in the hair industry through ongoing education.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in hair styling, barbering, or related cosmetology fields with valid licensing where required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse clientele.
- Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and explain services effectively.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices for maintaining a clean work setting.
- Ability to upsell retail products confidently while providing genuine recommendations.
- Experience managing front desk duties such as scheduling appointments and handling transactions is preferred.
- A proactive attitude with enthusiasm for learning new techniques and staying current on industry trends.
