Overview

Join a dynamic endodontic specialty practice as a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA), where your expertise will directly enhance patient care and support our talented dental team. In this energized role, you will assist with complex root canal procedures, ensure smooth clinical operations, and deliver exceptional patient experiences. Your skills in dental assisting, terminology, and dental software will be vital in creating a positive workplace for both patients and staff.

Duties

- Prepare treatment rooms with all necessary instruments, supplies, and materials for endodontic procedures.
- Assist the dentist during root canal treatments by handing instruments, managing suction, and ensuring patient comfort.
- Take and develop high-quality dental radiographs (X-rays) using CAD (computer-aided design) technology to assist diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Manage patient records efficiently using electronic health record systems to ensure accurate documentation.
- Educate patients on post-treatment care instructions and answer questions about procedures or billing.
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and sterilize instruments to uphold safety standards.




- Support pediatric patients by creating a calm environment and assisting with age-specific care needs when necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline office operations and improve patient flow in a busy endodontic practice.

Qualifications

- Valid certification as a Dental Assistant (CDA) with current licensure or registration as required by local regulations.
- Proven experience assisting in endodontic or general dentistry procedures;
- Proficiency in dental software
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental care and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $35.00-$43.00 per hour
