Compensation and Details:

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Great Plains Support Analyst for a long-term contract opportunity supporting financial applications in a public sector environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on application support skilled with strong Microsoft Dynamics GP, SQL Server, financial systems, and production support experience.

In this position, you will work closely with Finance users, IT teams, business stakeholders, and software vendors to keep critical financial applications running reliably. The work environment is collaborative, structured, and service-focused, with the opportunity to support important financial processes, improve system stability, and provide meaningful guidance to end users.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide Tier 2/3 production support for Microsoft Dynamics GP,



including application errors, processing issues, configuration problems, and user support.
- Support GP financial modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable, including month-end and year-end financial processing.
- Investigate data, transaction, reconciliation, integration, and reporting issues, performing root-cause analysis and documenting resolutions.
- Administer GP users, roles, security, and application configurations while supporting system reliability and access controls.
- Use Microsoft SQL Server to support data investigation, queries, views, stored procedures, reporting, and troubleshooting.
- Assist with upgrades, testing, patches, configuration changes, enhancements, and support for other corporate applications as required.
