ALUMINIUM TIG WELDER / FABRICATOR

ArcLab Motorsport & Fabrication has an immediate opening and is actively recruiting for an aluminum TIG Welder/ Fabricator in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Experienced aluminum TIG welders are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

- Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes
- Operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines
- Prep and fit weld materials
- Determine weldability of materials
- Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products




- Keep a high regard for safety
- Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
- TIG weld aluminum with skill and precision is mandatory
- Ability to work independently in a busy environment
- Ensure accuracy and completion of assigned tasks and projects
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail

Qualifications and Experience:

- Completion of Grade 12 supplemented by a completed apprenticeship with TIG welding skills and up to five years related journeyman experience OR an equivalent combination of training and experience
- A minimum of 2 years fabrication and aluminum TIG welder related experience is preferred

Additional Information:

- Monday to Friday (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) with the possibility of overtime as required.
- Competitive salary depending on skills and experience.
