Job Title: Production Supervisor

Job Summary: Our client is a growing food manufacturing company, continuing to expand its local team. We are hiring an experienced “all hands-on deck” Production Supervisor to lead a production team, oversee daily operations, and help drive safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity!

This is a stable, long-term opportunity for a hands-on leader who is willing to adapt quickly to changing production priorities and business needs to make a meaningful impact while growing with the operation.

Job Type: Full-time, permanent. 100% on-site.

Job Location: London, ON.

Shift Structure: Afternoon Shift (3-11PM), Flexible on OT and Weekends as Required

Compensation Structure: $80,000-$90,000 per year (depending on experience) + benefits

Responsibilities:

· Oversee daily production activities and ensure priorities are clearly communicated to the team

· Lead, coach, and support hourly production employees to maintain strong performance and engagement

· Assign employees to appropriate work areas and coordinate staffing throughout the shift

· Monitor production performance, including output, efficiency, labour utilization, yields, and product quality

· Ensure production processes are followed consistently, and products meet required quality standards

· Promote a strong safety culture and ensure employees follow established safety procedures

· Support employee training, development, performance management, and ongoing coaching





· Coordinate daily and weekly staffing requirements based on production needs

· Monitor the proper use and care of production equipment and escalate maintenance concerns when required

· Review production results and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and strengthen overall performance

· Help implement process improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives

· Work closely with Production Leadership and other departments to address operational challenges and keep production running smoothly

· Adapt quickly to changing production priorities and business needs

· Provide regular updates and communicate operational issues to leadership

Skills/Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment

· Previous experience in food manufacturing is an asset

· Strong understanding of production processes and scheduling

· Experience supporting or leading continuous improvement initiatives

· Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and workplace health and safety practices

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Confident and approachable leadership style with the ability to motivate a team

· Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities

· Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities

· Hands-on approach with a strong work ethic

· Organized, dependable, and able to effectively manage competing priorities
