Overview

Sixth Sense Resources' partners with clients that are seeking Apprentice and Journeyman Pipefitters. The Candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and solid attention to detail. This experienced Pipefitter will support construction, maintenance, installation and repair projects throughout Alberta.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, assemble, and repair piping systems
- Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend and fit piping as required
- Read and interpret drawings and blueprints of pipe layouts
- Install and maintain valves, fittings and related piping components
- Perform system inspections testing and maintenance
- Identify deficiencies and complete repairs as needed
- Complete required safety documentation and work records

Qualifications

- Registered as a pipefitter apprentice or recognized Journeyman Pipefitter certificate
- Red seal endorsement is highly preferred
- Previous experience in oil & gas, industrial, maintenance or construction is an asset
- Ability to read and understand drawings and blueprints
- Able to lift 100lbs
