Commercial Laundry Equipment Technician

Are you an experienced technician with a strong background in commercial and industrial laundry equipment?

We are seeking a senior level Commercial Laundry Equipment Technician to service, troubleshoot, repair, and install large, heavy duty laundry equipment throughout the Toronto GTA.

This is a field based position suited to a technician who can work independently, diagnose complex equipment issues, and confidently work across mechanical, electrical, electronic, plumbing, gas, and control systems.

IMPORTANT: COMMERCIAL LAUNDRY EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED

This position requires substantial hands on experience with large, heavy duty commercial and industrial laundry equipment.

General appliance repair or primarily residential washer and dryer experience will not be sufficient for this role.

We are specifically looking for technicians who have worked directly with large, high capacity commercial washers, industrial dryers, and related laundry systems in commercial, institutional, industrial, or other high volume environments.

Candidates should be able to independently service, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and install this type of equipment.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

Candidates must have:

- 5+ years of hands on experience specifically with commercial or industrial laundry equipment
- Direct experience servicing, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing heavy duty commercial washers and industrial dryers
- Valid TSSA Gas Technician License
- Strong mechanical, electrical, electronic, plumbing, gas, and control system troubleshooting experience
- Ability to independently diagnose and repair complex commercial laundry equipment
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record/abstract

What You’ll Do

- Service, troubleshoot, repair,



and maintain commercial and industrial laundry equipment
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, electronic, plumbing, gas, and control system issues
- Install and commission commercial laundry equipment
- Identify root causes of equipment failures and determine appropriate repairs
- Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, equipment manuals, and technical documentation
- Respond to customer service calls and resolve equipment issues efficiently
- Maintain accurate service records and communicate repairs and recommendations professionally
- Work independently at customer locations throughout the Toronto GTA

Experience servicing commercial laundry equipment in environments such as the following is highly relevant:

- Hotels and hospitality facilities
- Fire departments
- Condominiums and apartment buildings
- Municipal facilities
- Hospitals and institutional facilities
- Industrial and high volume laundry operations

Experience with multiple commercial laundry equipment manufacturers is an asset.

Compensation

$39.00+ perks per hour, based on experience, technical expertise, and qualifications.

Candidates with exceptional experience who exceed the requirements may be considered based on overall qualifications.
