We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in providing exceptional support to individuals with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. Working under the supervision of a registered Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), the SLPA will help implement treatment plans, support therapy sessions, and contribute to improving clients' quality of life.

Responsibilities include:

- Assist the SLP in delivering individualized treatment plans for clients
- Conduct group and one-on-one therapy sessions as directed
- Prepare materials and resources for therapy
- Document and report client progress to the supervising SLP
- Support assessment procedures under supervision
- Maintain a clean and organized therapy setting
- Collaborate with clients, families, and other team members to ensure effective service delivery
- Adhere to privacy laws and ethical standards as outlined by the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO)

Job Requirements





- Completion of a recognized Speech-Language Pathology Assistant or Communicative Disorders Assistant (CDA) program
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with children and/or adults with communication needs (preferred)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Proficiency in maintaining documentation and following treatment protocols
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Check
- Familiarity with CASLPO guidelines and SLPA scope of practice

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
