We’re a dedicated, tight-knit team of 15 based in south-central Edmonton that designs, sells, and supports high-end custom golf simulators for residential and commercial clients across North America.
We are looking for a tech-minded individual who loves golf, builds or tweaks gaming PCs, and genuinely enjoys helping people solve technical problems and build their dream setups.
This role is perfect for you if:
- You get excited about high-performance Windows PCs, custom builds, and hardware optimization.
- You play golf and are fascinated by golf simulator technology (launch monitors, tracking software, high-speed cameras).
- You enjoy diagnostic "detective work"—digging into hardware/software issues to get a client back up and swinging.
- You are excited about tech innovation (AI tools, video media, live chat) and thrive in a hands-on, casual, fast-moving environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Technical Support & Diagnostics: Troubleshoot golf simulator systems (hardware, sensors, networking, and software) via phone, email, and remote PC connections.
- Pre-Sales Technical Consultation: Take pre-sale calls to answer technical questions, helping prospective buyers select the right hardware, launch monitors, and PC specs for their space.
- Showroom & Hands-On Testing: Set up, calibrate, and test new equipment in our showroom—you'll often be among the first in Canada to hands-on test the latest simulator tech.
- AI Knowledge Base Development: Help build and refine our AI-driven internal and external technical database to streamline troubleshooting for our team and clients.
- Live Agent & Digital Support: Participate in developing and staffing our online live-agent support system to deliver real-time help to golfers.
- YouTube & Media On-Camera Presence: Become a featured face and voice on our YouTube channel—demonstrating gear, testing new simulator tech, filming quick troubleshooting guides,
and sharing tips with our online community.
What We’re Looking For:
- PC Hardware Aptitude: Solid Windows diagnostic skills (hands-on experience building or troubleshooting gaming PCs is a huge plus).
- Golf Knowledge: Active interest and experience playing golf. You understand the game, the feel, and what golfers care about.
- On-Camera Comfort & Communication: Clear, engaging verbal communication with the confidence to speak on phone/video calls and represent Par2Pro on YouTube.
- Reliability & Drive: Self-motivated with daily, reliable on-site attendance at our south-central Edmonton office.
No formal corporate Tier-2 tech support experience required—we care far more about your technical curiosity, problem-solving mindset, and passion for the game. We will train the golf-simulator specifics for the right candidate.
Compensation & Perks:
- Pay: $20–$25/hr to start (depending on technical aptitude and PC experience), with room to grow into specialized simulator bay design and senior technical roles.
- Benefits: Extended health, dental, and vision coverage after 6 months.
- Perks: Casual dress setting, employee discounts, free on-site parking, and access to hit balls on our top-tier showroom simulators.
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
Benefits:
- Casual dress
- Company events
- Dental care
- Extended health care
- Life insurance
- In office parking
- Vision care
