Powersports Technician

DaveSports – Woodstock, New Brunswick

Pay: $22–$27 per hour, based on experience
Hours: 42.5 hours per week
Employment: Full-time, permanent

DaveSports is looking for an experienced Powersports Technician to join our high-performance service team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, solving challenging problems, and working on exciting equipment. No two days are exactly the same—you’ll work in a fast-paced environment with a wide range of powersports products and new challenges every day.

Responsibilities

- Diagnose, service, and repair powersports equipment
- Perform scheduled maintenance and safety inspections
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems
- Complete repairs accurately and efficiently
- Clearly document completed work and required repairs
- Communicate with service advisors regarding diagnoses, timelines, and parts requirements
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow manufacturer procedures and company quality standards
- Participate in ongoing technical training as required

Qualifications

- Minimum three years of professional experience in powersports, small-engine, or automotive repair
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities
- Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team




- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to manage priorities in a busy, high-performance workplace
- Valid driver’s licence
- Powersports-specific training or certification is considered an asset

- Mechanic: 3 years (required)
- Mechanical troubleshooting: 2 years (required)
