Cameron Family Chiropractic is a holistic and wellness clinic focused on family health and well being. We are a well-established clinic that has been serving Calgarians for over 38 years in the SW. This is a great opportunity to join us as we are opening a brand-recent clinic space that has not had massage in it for over 15 years.

We are looking for RMTs as independent contractors who are eager to have flexibility, maintain and grow their client base, work collaboratively for the betterment of their clients, and enjoy their time while doing it.

Duties

- Provide personalized massage therapy sessions tailored to each client’s needs, utilizing various techniques such as deep tissue, sports massage, perinatal, or fascial release
- Assess clients’ health history and discuss their wellness goals to develop effective treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed treatment records in compliance with licensing regulations




- Educate clients on self-care practices and post-treatment recommendations to enhance results
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment adhering to hygiene standards and safety protocols
- Communicate clearly with clients about procedures, expectations, and any contraindications or health concerns
- Stay current with industry best practices and participate in ongoing professional development

Skills

- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and client health assessments
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively explain treatment plans and address client questions or concerns
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport quickly and foster trust with diverse clients
- Familiarity with safety standards, hygiene practices, and confidentiality regulations in healthcare settings

Qualifications:

- Licensed and in good standing with your association
- Carry own malpractice/liability insurance
- Prenatal Massage experience/knowledge is an asset
- Myofascial techniques are an asset
- Lymphatic massage training is an asset
