Compressed Air Field Service Technician

As our business continues to grow, we have a career opportunity for a Compressed Air Field Service Technician for our Ontario Division.

Overview of role

This role will require both a discipline in Mechanical and Electrical concepts complete with a willingness to learn.

It requires accountability to both the client and HD Compression Inc. as this role is considered a position that involves both a master skill set with exceptional communication complete with a positive customer facing approach.

There will be periods of travel that will result in overnight stays within Ontario but may include other areas in Canada, as assigned. Travel to the US may be required for training purposes.

The role requires a self-motivated personality with little field supervision. A willingness to overcome obstacles is key.

Main Responsibilities

- Diagnose, maintain and repair Centrifugal and Rotary screw compressors along with associated equipment.

- Investigate the causes of unplanned shutdowns and make the appropriate repairs.

- Maximize work schedule and the profitability of tasks.

- Participate in Team Meetings, collaborate with peers to improve our process.





- Participate in the effective sharing of information with the administration - Coordinators and management.

- Generate detailed customer reports and propose repair solutions and upgrades.

- Provide excellent customer service and promote customer loyalty.

Job qualifications:

- 2 years of experience in compressed air equipment maintenance and repair.

- Millwright (433A) or Electrician (309A, 309C or 442A) would be an asset but not essential.

- Good knowledge of mechanical concepts and theory of compression technologies within compressed air markets.

- Able to read both mechanical and electrical Drawings.

- Proficiency in Word and Excel document creation and editing.

- Proficiency in the use of electrical meters and devices.

- Valid Driver's License.

- Must be able to obtain Visa for travel purposes outside Canada.

Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
