Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring proper presentation and quality standards are met
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with food safety standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
- Manage guest inquiries or concerns professionally, resolving issues efficiently to ensure satisfaction
Qualifications
- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred but not required; a passion for hospitality is essential
- Knowledge of POS systems
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Understanding of food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations in the food industry
- Basic math skills for accurate order entry, billing, and cash handling
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining attention to detail
- Kitchen or food industry experience is advantageous but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is key
