We are two work-from-home professionals looking for a warm, caring, and experienced nanny to become a trusted part of our family and care for our daughter.

Our daughter is currently 4 months old, so the role will begin with infant care and transition into the toddler years.

Schedule

September–December 2026: Part-time

- Approximately 5–8 months old
- Half-days Monday–Friday or 2–3 full days per week
- One parent will be on maternity leave and will work closely with the nanny during this period
- This will provide an opportunity to get to know our daughter, establish routines, and become comfortable with how we approach childcare

January 2027 onward: Full-time

- Approximately 9 months old
- Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm
- Minimum 8-month commitment, with possibility of continuing longer

Qualifications & experience

The most important thing is finding someone we feel completely comfortable trusting with our daughter and in our home. We're looking for someone who:

- Has experience caring for infants and/or young children
- Has First Aid/CPR certification
- Has ECE Level 1 or 2 (or equivalent training), or significant hands-on childcare experience providing equivalent knowledge and skills
- Is warm, patient, responsible, and dependable
- Enjoys actively playing, reading, exploring, and creating fun, age-appropriate days
- Is comfortable taking initiative and communicating openly with parents
- Is a non-smoker
- Is comfortable around a large, friendly dog; dog care is not part of the role
- Can drive — not required, but a bonus
- Speaks Korean — a bonus, but not required. We'd love for our daughter to hear and learn Korean from an early age
- Has Montessori experience/training — a bonus, but not required
- Is familiar with Elimination Communication (EC) — a bonus, but not required. We are currently practicing EC and will eventually transition to potty training





Responsibilities

The priority is providing our daughter with fun, engaging, and enriching days.

- Infant and toddler care
- Play and age-appropriate activities
- Reading, music, and outdoor time
- Meals and snacks
- Diaper changes, naps, and daily routines
- Supporting elimination communication and eventual potty training
- Outings and activities as she gets older
- Small household tasks during downtime, including meal preparation, laundry, vacuuming, and tidying

Childcare is always the priority. We are not looking for a housekeeper.

Compensation & benefits

- $30/hour to start, adaptable based on experience and fit
- 2 weeks vacation per year, accrued from the start of employment
- Paid statutory holidays
- Formal employee position with payroll and applicable statutory contributions
- Minimum 2 references from previous childcare/employment positions
- Criminal record check, including Vulnerable Sector Check where applicable
- Paid trial day or short paid trial period required as part of the hiring process
