Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) to join our dental practice on a full-time or part time basis. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for providing exceptional patient care. Experience with dental software such as Epic and Dentrix, as well as familiarity with orthodontics, pediatrics, and medical terminology, is highly desirable. This role offers an engaging environment where you can utilize your dental assisting expertise to support a team committed to patient health and comfort.

A second language skill (Mandarin, Korean) etc. a must. Able to work on weekend.

Duties

- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including orthodontic and pediatric treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies, ensuring sterilization protocols are followed
- Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when required
- Manage patient records accurately using dental software such as Dentrix and Epic
- Provide patient education on oral health care and post-treatment instructions
- Schedule appointments, confirm patient visits,



and handle administrative tasks typical of a dental receptionist role
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment in compliance with safety standards
- Support the team with administrative duties related to patient intake and insurance processing

Experience

- Valid CDA certification is required for this position
- Prior experience in dental assisting, particularly in orthodontics or pediatrics, is preferred
- Proficiency with dental software systems such as Dentrix and Epic is highly advantageous
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry is beneficial
- Experience with CAD systems for digital impressions or restorations is a plus
- Strong understanding of dental assisting procedures, infection control protocols, and patient care standards
