Responsibilities:

- Operate a variety of equipment (excavator/skidsteer/backhoe/loader).
- Supervise other emloyees
- Perform skilled labour, including but not limited to; surveying, grading, placing boulders and general labour tasks.
- Assist with project-estimating.
- Complete projects efficiently on schedule and budget, and assist with budget tracking and project estimation.
- Assist with guiding, training, and managing a crew or multiple crews of labourers.
- Monitor quality control and ensure tasks are completed to the highest quality in accordance with construction plans and specifications.
- Ensure company’s safety procedures are being followed at all times, and assist with SECOR safety program administration and reporting.
- For the right candidate, and depending on the installation season and other factors, this position could potentially be extended into a year-round role.

Experience:

- 5 years minimum operating equipment (excavator/skidsteer/backhoe/loader).
- Supervisory experience
- Thorough knowledge of safe work procedures




- Operating equipment in and around confined areas

Skills:

- Management
- Earthworks and machinery
- Clean Class 5 Driver’s License (Class 1 or 3 an asset.)
- Must have steel-toed boots
