Operations Support Analyst
At the CRNA, we are committed to regulatory excellence and safeguarding the public interest. As part of this commitment, we are seeking an Operations Support Analyst to provide analytical, coordination and operational support to the Regulatory Initiatives and Standards of Practice department.
This position strengthens the department's capacity to deliver on its regulatory mandate by supporting program reporting, document quality assurance, budget tracking and operational coordination. Reporting to the Executive Director, Regulatory Services, the Operations Support Analyst ensures the operational infrastructure of the department functions reliably and supports the delivery of regulatory programs and standards work.
What You Will Do
Program Support and Operational Reporting
- Compile, maintain and update program data and metrics for Regulatory Initiatives and Standards programs, including the Clinic Assessment and Inspection Program and the Continuing Competence Program.
- Prepare scheduled and ad hoc reports, summaries, evaluation data and dashboards to support leadership decision-making and program oversight.
- Track program milestones and deliverables, flag emerging gaps or delays, and support project coordination across workstreams.
- Validate data accuracy and maintain documentation to support audit readiness.
Regulatory Document Quality Assurance
- Conduct final review of regulatory documents and resources for consistency in formatting, language and presentation before they proceed through the approval process.
- Apply and maintain CRNA's document standards, templates and style guidelines across all regulatory materials.
- Identify and flag inconsistencies or gaps and coordinate corrections; maintain version control and document logs.
Operational and Administrative Coordination
- Coordinate meeting logistics including scheduling, agenda preparation, materials distribution and minute-taking.
- Track action items and deadlines across departmental priorities to support timely completion.
- Support budget tracking and expenditure monitoring, including compiling and validating expense data and maintaining spend logs.
- Provide backup coordination support during peak periods.
Partner Communications Support
- Support the development of external resources and communications for health system partners related to new and evolving regulatory initiatives.
- Coordinate information exchange with external partners and prepare materials for internal and external audiences, ensuring version control and accuracy.
- Track partner communications and follow-ups and flag emerging issues to the appropriate leader.
What You Possess
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in administration, business or a related field.
Experience:
3 to 5 years of experience in an administrative, coordination or analytical support role. Experience supporting multiple priorities in a regulated or professional services environment is an asset.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Skills & Competencies:
- Analytical and Reporting Ability: Skilled in compiling, validating and reporting program data with attention to accuracy and completeness.
- Document Quality Assurance: Familiar with document management, formatting standards and quality assurance processes.
- Coordination and Organization: Strong ability to manage competing deadlines, track action items and support project coordination across workstreams.
- Communication: Clear written and verbal communication with the ability to prepare materials for internal and external audiences.
- Budget and Records Administration: Experience with expense tracking, budget monitoring and records management to audit standards.
- Judgment and Initiative: Demonstrates accountability and sound judgment and brings forward process improvement recommendations.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient with MS 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Adobe Acrobat
