The Position

We are seeking a compassionate, adaptable, and highly skilled OCT-certified teacher to join our growing team. This role is focused on delivering exceptional instruction in elementary-level Math, English, and/or French, with a strong emphasis on supporting students with special needs and exceptionalities. Key Responsibilities

- Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons in elementary Math, English, or French.
- Inclusive Instruction: Differentiate instruction and adapt learning materials to support students with various exceptionalities, behavioral needs, and diverse learning profiles.
- Gap Identification: Utilize our structured learning roadmaps to identify academic gaps and build targeted strategies for individual student success.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a supportive, focused, and inclusive small-group classroom setting that builds student confidence.
- Parent Communication: Provide detailed,



written feedback to parents regarding student progress, behavioral milestones, and next steps.

Qualifications

- Certification: Active member in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT).
- Teaching Experience: Proven track record teaching elementary-level Math, English, or French.
- Special Education Expertise: Demonstrated hands-on experience working with kids with special needs and exceptionalities. (Special Education Part 1 AQ or equivalent is a strong asset).
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, particularly for consistent parent correspondence.
- Languages: Fluency in English is required. Fluency in French is a valuable asset.
- Clearance: A current and clear Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS) check.
