Our recycling depot is busier than ever and we need to bring in another hardworking team member to help us sort and count our refundables and outdoor recycling! This position will be Tuesday to Saturday.
Located on the Island Foods property, our depot is rapid paced and always busy. With lots of work to get done during shifts from organizing recycling and counting refundable drink containers, to sorting and scanning household recycling like cardboard, glass containers, foam..etc. There is always lots to do!
We need someone reliable and fit, able to lift, push and pull some heavy pallets, and is ready to work throughout all seasons of the year. We will train the right candidate to learn all things recycling!
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $18.25 per hour
Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- recycling: 1 year (preferred)
Work Location: In person
