Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finishing Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing precise finishing work that enhances the aesthetic and functional quality of building projects. Your expertise will ensure that interior and exterior surfaces are flawlessly completed, contributing to the overall excellence of our construction projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential restorations to commercial installations, utilizing your craftsmanship and technical skills to deliver outstanding results.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute finishing tasks.
- Install cabinetry, countertops, flooring, tiles, siding, and other interior or exterior finishes with precision.
- Perform restoration work, including repairing or refinishing existing structures to meet quality standards.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for tasks such as sanding, cutting, drilling, and assembly.
- Apply construction painting techniques to achieve smooth finishes on walls, ceilings, and other surfaces.
- Handle rebar installation, masonry work, roofing components, and concrete forming as needed for project completion.
- Conduct caulking, sealing, and waterproofing to ensure durability and weather resistance of finished surfaces.
- Assist with plumbing and electrical tasks related to finishing work when required.




- Maintain a clean and organized work setting while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while ensuring high-quality craftsmanship.

Experience

- Proven experience in carpentry or woodworking within residential construction settings.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating processes.
- Hands-on experience with various hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and heavy lifting equipment.
- Familiarity with masonry techniques, tile laying, flooring installation, siding application, and roofing systems.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings related to plumbing, electrical systems, or manufacturing processes.
- Prior handyman experience or general construction experience is highly valued.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to construction painting, caulking, drywall, flooring and heavy lifting activities.
- Ability to fabricare custom pieces sush as cabinets and furniture is preferred

Pay: $28.00-$34.00 per hour
