Job Title: Delivery Drivers - 3 Ton/5 Ton
Location: Central Region, ON
Salary: $22.00-$24.00/hour
Shift Timing- 7:00AM to 4:30PM
Contract: 2 weeks with a possibility of extension

Our client in Central Region, ON is actively looking for Delivery Drivers - 3 Ton/5 Ton to join their team.

Position Description:

- The delivery driver staff are responsible for delivering orders and products to customers on a daily basis.

- They are responsible for driving to and from the pickup location to the destination, delivering goods/products and collecting the payment.
- Drivers must ensure that they have the correct names and addresses of customers, and stay in contact with dispatchers for additional pick-ups.
- They will be helping in loading and unloading merchandise from the truck.
- It is their duty to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the delivery vehicle and to ensure the protected delivery of the product without any delay or damage.
- Delivery Driver's are also responsible for any other duties assigned to them by management.





Major Responsibilities:

- Pick-up and deliver various items and products
- Load and unload goods from the truck
- Use maps and other trip planning aids
- Perform pre-trip inspection of the vehicle
- Record trip information i.e., vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any issues
- Loading and unloading of truck
- Must be helping in the warehouse if and when needed
- Responsible for carrying out assigned housekeeping tasks
- Responsible for carrying out any other duties assigned by management

Skills and Qualifications:

- Valid G license

- Clean driver's abstract and CVOR
- Experience driving a 3-ton
- Responsible and reliable
- Excellent time-management skills
- Money-handling skills
- Customer service oriented
- Accuracy in following instructions
- Excellent communication
