CMHA-S/M Job Posting – 26-19 : Information Management Specialist

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Coordinator, Administration and Information Management, the Information Management Specialist supports the agency’s information management, records management, and technology needs. The position coordinates technology-related activities in collaboration with the agency’s Managed Service Provider (MSP), which is responsible for day-to-day technical support and IT infrastructure management.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Act as the agency's internal resource for information management, technology coordination, and records management.
- Works closely with the agency's MSP,



which remains responsible for day-to-day technical support and management of the agency's IT infrastructure.
- Acts as the primary internal liaison with the MSP and coordinates organizational technology needs, projects, assets, access requirements, and technology-related initiatives.
- Administering and maintaining the agency's network portal.
- Supporting records management practices and maintaining information governance standards.
- Coordinating relationships with technology vendors.
- Contributing to quality improvement initiatives that enhance operational effectiveness, information security and service delivery.

Qualifications:

- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Information Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years’ related experience.
- Experience working with Microsoft 365 and SharePoint environments, including information management, content administration, permissions, and/or user support.
- Experience coordinating projects including technology implementations.
- Access to reliable transportation, with a valid G driver’s license.
- Fluency in English is essential.



Advanced conversational French is essential for 40% of these positions. Priority will be given to candidates who are bilingual in French and English as per our French Language Service Plan. If no bilingual candidates (both internal and external) meet the qualifications, unilingual English- speaking candidates may be considered.

Salary:

- Hourly, Step 1: $33.30 - Step 4: $39.67

*Successful candidates for this position will start at Step 1 of the salary grid.
