Carpenter – Door & Window Installation (Recent Home Builds)

Location: Durham Region — Oshawa, Whitby, Ajax, Pickering, Clarington Pay: $30–$40/hour, based on experience Job type: Full-time, ongoing

We're looking for a hardworking carpenter to join a crew installing doors and windows in new residential builds across Durham Region. Steady work, close to home, with a builder that keeps its people busy.

What you'll be doing

– Install exterior and interior doors, windows and patio/slider units – Set units square, level and plumb — shim, fasten, secure to spec – Prep and adjust rough openings for proper fit – Install hardware, flashing and sealants for a weather-tight envelope – Work from construction drawings and window schedules – Finish work around openings — trim, casing, jamb extensions – Keep the site clean and safe, flag issues to the supervisor

What we're looking for

– 2+ years carpentry experience,



residential preferred – Hands-on door and window installation experience — this is the core of the role – Solid with mitre saw, nail guns, drills, levels and laser – Able to read drawings and window schedules – Physically fit for outdoor work in all seasons – Reliable transportation across Durham Region – Motivated, punctual, takes ownership of their work

Nice to have: Working at Heights, WHMIS, valid G licence and own vehicle.
