Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Industrial Electrician to join our team. Journeyperson Electricians and experienced 3rd or 4th year apprentices with industrial electrical experience are encouraged to apply.

The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting abilities, the ability to read electrical drawings and schematics, and a commitment to safe, high-quality workmanship. This position involves travel to industrial project sites throughout Saskatchewan, working on electrical and instrumentation installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades.

Responsibilities

- Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
- Troubleshoot electrical systems using logic, testing equipment, PLCs, and other diagnostic tools
- Perform electrical installations, renovations, and system upgrades
- Work with industrial electrical equipment, motor controls, and related systems
- Collaborate with other trades and project teams to complete work safely and efficiently
- Maintain a high standard of safety, quality, and workmanship
- Follow all site-specific safety requirements and company procedures

Travel & Schedule

- Monday–Friday schedule
- Minimum 10-hour workdays
- Travel to site occurs Monday,



with travel back to the shop on Fridays
- Travel time is paid at the applicable rate
- Overtime is paid after 40 hours worked
- Friday travel time is eligible for overtime once the 40-hour threshold has been reached
- Company work trucks provided
- Hotel accommodations provided with your own private room
- Daily per diem provided while travelling
- Journeypersons and apprentices are included under the same travel, accommodation, and per diem arrangements

Qualifications

- Journeyperson Electrician certification preferred
- Solid 3rd or 4th year apprentices with industrial electrical experience will also be considered
- Industrial electrical experience preferred
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and troubleshooting
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices
- Valid driver’s license required

Compensation & Benefits

- Journeyperson wage: $45.00–$55.00/hour depending on experience and qualifications
