CRIM 289-001 Professional Communications & Writing

An introduction to the integration of theory and practice in justice issues.

Position Requirements

The successful candidate must:

- hold a MA or PhD in field or equivalent discipline; PhD is preferred;
- a record of effective teaching at the post-secondary level;
- have experience managing classroom and online technologies used by the University of Regina (including UR Courses [Moodle])

Physical Demands Pay Grade Faculty Sessional Salary Range Per URFA Collective Agreement Status Term Work Hours

The instructor will deliver the course on campus face-to-face on Thursdays from 8:30-11:15am. Instructors are expected to have one office hour per week.

Course Modality On Campus - Face to Face Course Dates and Time Thursday - 0830-1115 Duration (if Term/Temporary) September 1, 2026 - December 31, 2026. Sessional Lecturers may have preparatory work to do before the start date and sometimes may have to deal with grading tasks after the termination date. Full-Time/Part time Other Preference Posting No Preference Target Posting Not Targeted
