A career as a Deal Team Advisor on the Credit Capital Markets (CCM) Loan Administration team at National Bank of Canada means putting your expertise to deliver trusted advice to internal and external parties. In this role, you can use your Loan Administration work experience to have a positive impact on the organization.
Your job
- Review draft of legal documents and provide opinions from operational perspective
- Create, update and manage the various Notebooks in Loan IQ (LIQ) for your assigned accounts.
- Ensure LIQ indexation are aligned with Credit Agreement and report discrepancies to Relationship Manager and/or your manager
- Understand client’s needs and propose appropriate solutions that support the implementation of activities while considering the diversity of cases and bank’s operational limitations
- Interact with different sectors of the Bank, managers, and employees to interpret information and offer support and advice on complex issues
- Support the implementation at different stages of the loan cycle and ensure follow-up until full completion of the request
- Foster a collaborative team environment by actively participating in teamwork, sharing insights, and contributing to a positive workplace culture

You will be part of a team of 20 colleagues in the CCM Toronto office, and you will report to Senior Manager, CCM Loan Administration. Prerequisites
- Requires a 3 year Professional College Diploma in a related field OR Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 3 years of experience in Commercial or Capital Markets Sector of a Financial Institution
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in loan administration/financial analysis/security management with the Commercial or Capital Markets sector of a Financial Institution
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong ability to multi-task in a fast changing and high-pressure environment
- Detail oriented with excellent organizational, problem solving and communication skills
- Be able to work well in a team environment
- Familiar with Loan IQ (loan database system) (asset)
