We are modern food producer with high speed process and packaging lines situated in the lower mainland. This position is a night shift Monday to Friday with overtime supervision as required on weekends. The position we are hiring for involves managing the sanitation crew and ensuring that our high sanitation standards are met consistently leading to a clean plant and equipment.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Implementing and monitoring cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain high sanitation standards, including the daily cleaning and periodic cleaning.

2. Ensuring all cleaning chemicals and cleaning tools are used and stored properly, and that cleaning chemical concentrations are followed.

3. Inspecting the facility to identify sanitation, safety and pest control issues.

4. Training staff on sanitation procedures, including the use of protective gear.

5. Overseeing waste disposal and recycling efforts. Ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the outside premises

6. Preparing reports on sanitation activities and issues.

7.



Ordering and maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies.

8. Making sure all cleaning tools and equipment are in good working condition, coordinating repairs if necessary.

9. Addressing any sanitation related complaints or issues promptly and efficiently.

10. Addressing issues on CFIA findings and QA preoperational findings and swabs

11. Scheduling of sanitation staff.

12. Do production supervision as necessary.

REQUIREMENTS:

1) WHMIS

2) First Aid Certification

3) Proven organizational skills for yourself and a team.

4) Experience with large batch food production plant is an asset.
