MacNutt Enterprises is looking for a full time Heavy Duty Mechanic, apprentice or journeyman, experienced with fleet trucks, trailers & equipment, such as wheel loaders, excavators, crushers, screening plants and hog grinders (and more).

Mostly on site in Nanaimo, but some travel in company vehicle to Lake Cowichan & Victoria for equipment repairs, maintenance, and road calls.

Duties:

- Perform diagnostic inspections and troubleshooting on heavy-duty trucks and trailers and heavy-duty equipment.
- Conduct repairs and preventative maintenance on engines, brakes, electrical systems, and other mechanical components.
- Assist with parts ordering and inventory management as needed
- Keep detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation

Required:





- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a rapid-paced environment
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- Strong attention to detail.

Assets

- Air brakes certificate /Upgraded license
- Experience with driving and repairing heavy duty machines
- Other repair work, such as welding.

Pay: $25.00-$50.00 per hour

Experience:
