Delivery Driver / Independent Courier – Montreal, QC

Hello Courier is looking for reliable, motivated, and customer-focused Delivery Drivers / Independent Couriers to join our growing delivery network in Montreal and the Greater Montreal Area (GMA).

This is a year-round, permanent opportunity for drivers interested in e-commerce and last-mile delivery. Drivers who demonstrate strong performance, reliability, and delivery results may have opportunities to take on additional routes as our operations expand.

Position: Delivery Driver / Independent Courier

Location: Montreal & Greater Montreal Area (GMA), Quebec
Employment Type: Permanent / Year-round
Schedule: Monday–Saturday
Start Time: 7:00 AM
Delivery Completion: Deliveries must be completed by 9:00 PM
Compensation: Per delivery
Vehicle: Car, SUV, minivan, or Sprinter van

About the Role

As a Hello Courier Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for completing deliveries to residential and commercial customers throughout your assigned service area.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Picking up and delivering parcels safely and efficiently
- Following assigned delivery routes and optimizing your daily route
- Ensuring parcels are handled carefully and delivered to the correct location
- Using the mobile application to manage deliveries and provide delivery updates
- Providing professional and courteous customer service
- Meeting delivery deadlines and maintaining a high delivery success rate
- Following all company procedures and delivery requirements
- Maintaining accurate delivery records through the mobile application
- Communicating promptly regarding delivery issues, delays, or exceptions
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and reliable vehicle

Compensation





Drivers are compensated per successfully completed delivery.

Rates vary depending on parcel weight and delivery distance, with rates starting at approximately $1.13 per parcel for parcels under 500 g and increasing to $2.00+ per parcel depending on the shipment.

Requirements

Applicants must:

- Have a valid driver's licence
- Have access to a reliable vehicle suitable for delivery work
- Be able to provide the required vehicle and insurance documentation
- Have a clean and secure driving record
- Be comfortable using a smartphone and mobile applications
- Be able to work independently and manage time effectively
- Be reliable, punctual, and professional
- Be physically able to handle and transport delivery parcels
- Have strong attention to detail and customer-service skills
- Be available Monday through Saturday, with a 7:00 AM start time and deliveries completed by 9:00 PM

Technology

Drivers will use the mobile application to manage their deliveries, access route information, update delivery statuses, and complete required delivery procedures.
