Part-Time Restaurant Team Member – Morning & Evening Shifts

Job Overview

Taco Libre is looking for three reliable and energetic Part time Restaurant Team Members to join our team in Calgary.

We have three separate positions available with fixed schedules:

Position 1 – Morning Shift
Monday to Wednesday
8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Approximately 18 hours per week

Position 2 – Morning Shift
Thursday to Saturday
8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Approximately 18 hours per week

Position 3 – Evening Shift
Thursday to Saturday
5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Approximately 18 hours per week

Applicants must be consistently available for all three days of the schedule they select.

Responsibilities

Morning positions:

- Assist with food preparation and basic kitchen duties
- Serve customers and operate the front counter
- Take payments and process orders accurately
- Assemble and package dine-in, takeout and delivery orders
- Restock ingredients, packaging and supplies
- Maintain clean and organized kitchen, counter and dining areas
- Support any area of the restaurant as needed

Evening position:

- Assist the front counter team and serve customers
- Take payments and process dine-in, takeout and delivery orders
- Package orders accurately
- Restock supplies throughout the shift
- Assist the kitchen when needed
- Complete general cleaning and closing duties
- Help ensure the restaurant is ready for the following day





What We’re Looking For

- Reliable, punctual and responsible
- Friendly and comfortable interacting with customers
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to work in the kitchen, front counter and cleaning areas
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing physical restaurant duties
- Conversational English is required
- Spanish is an asset but is not required
- Previous restaurant or customer service experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person
- Food safety certification is an asset

Compensation

$16.50–$17.00 per hour, depending on experience, plus tips.
