Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport children to and from school and the childcare facility
- Ensure all transportation activities comply with traffic laws and safety regulations
- Assist children in boarding and disembarking vehicles, providing support as needed
- Maintain clear communication with parents, staff, and children regarding transportation schedules and any delays or issues
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning of all equipment
- Assist with light heavy lifting tasks related to loading or unloading supplies or equipment for the center
- Keep accurate records of transportation logs, mileage, and any incidents during transit
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or appropriate driving certification for passenger transport
- Proven experience in commercial driving or school transportation services
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and team members
- Ability to perform light heavy lifting safely when handling supplies or equipment
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and customer service excellence
- Reliable punctuality with a flexible attitude towards scheduling needs
- Basic knowledge of traffic laws and vehicle maintenance procedures
