Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Hydrovac Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment operation and mechanical knowledge, with experience in various construction-related tasks. As a Hydrovac Operator, you will be responsible for operating hydrovac trucks to safely excavate and expose underground utilities while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Duties

- Operate hydrovac equipment to perform safe excavation of underground utilities.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute excavation projects efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Communicate effectively with project managers and other team members regarding project progress and any issues that arise.

Requirements

- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation,



specifically with hydrovac trucks.
- Solid mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform maintenance on equipment.
- Valid Class 3 driver's license is required for operating company vehicles.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical labor as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the job site.
- Previous experience in construction or related fields is an asset.
- Ground disturbance Level 2.

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
