Why Grocery Checkout?

We’re not your typical grocery store! Our Fresh Market is right on campus and our team is made up mostly of students. We’re looking for friendly, energetic people who enjoy working with others, learning new things, and taking on a little responsibility.

What You’ll Do

As a Market Clerk, you’ll get to do a little bit of everything:

- Help customers and provide great service
- Work the cash register
- Stock shelves and keep displays looking great
- Keep the store clean, organized and welcoming
- Make sure products are fresh and properly rotated
- Follow all food safety and health & safety procedures

What We’re Looking For

- Currently enrolled at York University
- Available to work at least 8 hours per week
- Friendly,



reliable and ready to work
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- No grocery experience? No problem! We’ll train you.

Pay: From $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 4.0 – 15.0 per week
