ISTechnology is a growing technology and security company providing solutions for commercial, industrial and residential clients throughout Nova Scotia and Atlantic Canada.
We are looking for a Technology Technician to join our team.
Our technicians work across a wide range of technologies including CCTV, access control, alarm systems, networking, Wi-Fi, intercoms, audio/video, automation and structured cabling.
This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys technology, working with tools, troubleshooting problems and learning new systems.
What you'll be doing
Your work may include:
- Installing and servicing CCTV and video surveillance systems
- Installing access control systems and electronic door hardware
- Installing and servicing alarm systems
- Installing network infrastructure, switches, PoE and Wi-Fi systems
- Installing intercom and video entry systems
- Installing audio/video and display systems
- Running and terminating low-voltage cabling
- Configuring and commissioning technology systems
- Troubleshooting equipment and network issues
- Performing service calls and preventative maintenance
- Working with customers and other trades on job sites
- Assisting with larger commercial and industrial projects
Your background
We are interested in people with experience in areas such as:

We are also interested in people who have developed strong technical skills through hands-on work, hobbies or other experience.
