Job Description

RNR Steel Inc. is looking for a Shop helper/delivery driver to join our team. This position is responsible for assisting with the daily shop operations and other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will be able to perform a variety of tasks and work well in a team environment or independently.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Operate forklift and other equipment as needed
- Maintain warehouse space by keeping it organized, clean, and presentable to customers
- Work with the Shop Manager to ensure that orders are processed in a timely manner
- Perform general warehouse duties such as sorting materials, organizing racks, and taking inventory counts
- Maintain a clean and protected work environment
- Cleaning of shop and warehouse areas
- Other duties as assigned by Shop Manager or supervisor
- Make deliveries and/or pick ups

Experience





- Prior experience operating a forklift preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to understand verbal instructions.
- Must be able to use a tape measure correctly (imperial & metric)
- Must be able to use a band saw, hand tools as needed

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35.0 per week
