Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class 2 commercial bus along assigned routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical soundness and cleanliness
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, alighting, and addressing inquiries in a friendly manner
- Maintain accurate records of trips, passenger counts, and any incidents or maintenance issues
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members using clear and professional language
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and reporting any mechanical concerns promptly
- Follow all safety protocols and emergency procedures to ensure passenger safety at all times
Experience
- Valid Class 2 (or equivalent) commercial driving license with a clean driving record
- Prior experience in commercial driving or passenger transportation is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates
- Strong mechanical knowledge to assist with basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
- Excellent communication skills in English to interact effectively with passengers and team members
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude
