Position Summary

We are seeking reliable Static Security Guards for multiple posts at a Calgary International Airport Hotel. Successful candidates will help safeguard guests, staff, and property by monitoring for unusual, unsafe, or unlawful activity. Responsibilities include patrolling hallways, parking lots, stairwells, lobbies, bars, and restaurants, responding to assistance calls, and addressing trespassing, loitering, or disruptive behaviour as required.

Hospitality or retail customer service experience is preferred.

Minimum Qualifications

This role is ideal for candidates who:

- Can confidently enforce establishment protocols and procedures
- Can respond to threats, de-escalate situations, and maintain site orders at all times
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude
- Are committed to strong customer service
- Are comfortable working nights (consecutive nights and weekends required)
- Hold a valid Alberta Security License
- Hold a valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Can provide a clean police background check
- Can speak, read, and write English fluently
- Have 6 months–2 years of security experience (preferred but not mandatory)
- Hold First Aid, PPCT, WHMIS, or ProServe certifications (preferred)
- Can work effectively both independently and within a team




- Are willing to learn and apply relevant sections of the Criminal Code of Canada
- Are comfortable operating Microsoft Windows systems and programs

Schedule & Hours

Open availability from Monday to Sunday is required.

Shifts:

- Job 1: Monday – Friday, 11:00 PM (2300) – 7:00 AM (0700) — 8 hours
- Job 2: Saturday & Sunday, 11:00 PM (2300) – 7:00 AM (0700) — 8 hours

Appointment Terms

This is a permanent position with opportunities for growth within the company. Additional city-wide assignments may be available based on qualifications and scheduling needs.

Starting wage: $17.00/hour.
