Job Summary

Duties

- Perform minor repairs in guest rooms, public areas, offices and staff accommodation.
- Use hand tools and power tools to make minor repairs.
- Conduct preventative maintenance in guest rooms.
- Troubleshoot problems efficiently by diagnosing root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference.
- Maintain hotel grounds.




- Collaborate with other departments for maintenance requests.

Experience

- Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in maintenance or repair roles.
- Familiarity with using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Prior experience working in a hotel environments is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying issues early.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and report on maintenance activities.

Pay: From $28.13 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week

Experience:

- hotel maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
