Responsibilities

- Safely operate pilot trucks attached to our heavy haul operation, guiding the main tractor-trailer through complex routes and tight spaces.
- Assist in maneuvering freight loads, ensuring secure loading and unloading procedures.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the pilot truck to verify mechanical condition, safety features, and compliance with regulations.
- Communicate clearly with dispatchers, drivers, and site personnel to coordinate movements and relay important updates.
- Support the movement of freight by escorting or leading trucks through congested or challenging areas to prevent accidents or delays.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken,



and any incidents or mechanical issues encountered during shifts.
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws diligently to uphold a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Must have previous Pilot Car experience and be certified or willing to be certified in the USA.
- Must have a valid Passport
- Must be able to be away from home for extended periods of time.
- Must be willing to work on a commission based pay schedule

Skills

- Robust mechanical knowledge to perform routine vehicle inspections and troubleshoot minor issues effectively.
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License).
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members, dispatchers, and clients clearly and professionally.
- Experience moving freight across various routes, demonstrating reliability and punctuality under tight schedules.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial trucking and freight handling practices.
- Energetic attitude with a focus on precision, safety, and efficient freight movement.

Pay: $100.00-$400.00 per day
