We are looking for a reliable, skilled, and motivated RV Technician to join our service team. The successful candidate will take pride in their work, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and be comfortable working independently while also contributing to our family-oriented team environment.

Position Summary

The RV Technician is responsible for inspecting, servicing, repairing, maintaining, and preparing recreational vehicles for customers. This position involves a variety of RV systems and requires strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in quality workmanship, and understands the importance of completing jobs safely, efficiently, and correctly the first time.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform inspections, maintenance, repairs, and service on a variety of RVs and travel trailers.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot RV systems and components.
- Perform work on RV electrical systems, including 12V and 120V systems.
- Diagnose and repair plumbing and water systems.
- Service and repair RV appliances and related systems.
- Diagnose and repair heating, cooling, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems.
- Inspect and repair propane systems in accordance with applicable safety requirements and certifications.
- Perform roof inspections, sealing, caulking, and water-leak repairs.
- Repair and replace doors, windows, flooring,



cabinetry, trim, awnings, and other RV components.
- Complete pre-delivery inspections and prepare RVs for customer delivery.
- Perform warranty and customer-pay repairs in accordance with manufacturer and dealership procedures.
- Accurately document work completed and identify additional repairs or maintenance required.
- Communicate repair findings and recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Properly use and maintain tools, equipment, and shop facilities.
- Follow all applicable workplace health and safety procedures.
- Complete work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
- Provide professional and courteous service to customers when required.
- Work cooperatively with other members of the dealership team.

Qualifications & Skills

- Previous experience as an RV Technician is considered an asset.
- Experience in construction, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, or other related trades may be considered.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving skills.
- Ability to diagnose problems and determine appropriate repairs.
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.




- Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Ability to lift, carry, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
- Willingness to learn recent RV technologies, products, and manufacturer procedures.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.

Working Conditions

This position involves working both indoors and outdoors and may involve exposure to varying temperatures and weather conditions. The position requires frequent standing, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, lifting, and working in confined areas.

The technician may work on a variety of RV makes and models, each with different systems and configurations.

Compensation & Benefits
