Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Framing Carpenter to join our crew. This role focuses on residential and/or commercial wood framing, including structural layout and assembly. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced job site environment.

Responsibilities

- Perform wood framing including floors, walls, and roof systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and construction drawings
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials accurately
- Install structural components such as beams, joists, and trusses
- Ensure all work is level, square, and built to specification
- Work safely at heights and follow all site safety protocols
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Coordinate with crew members to keep projects on schedule

Requirements

- Proven experience in framing (residential or commercial)




- Strong understanding of building layout and structural framing methods
- Ability to read and follow construction drawings
- Comfortable using power tools and framing equipment
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Fall arrest certification (asset)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00-$36.00 per hour
